bit of a rant

i live around the corner from my in laws my m/in law treats my husband and his brother like they still have to answer to her with what ever they do.
Whilst this may seem normal to my husband and his brother its not to me.
It drives me nuts talk about interfering!:mad:
Now dont get me wrong its nice that they are so close i have 2 boys myself so can understand a little and i hope i can be a nice mother in law and let my boys live their life the way they decide to!!!
for goodness sake he is 35 not 5!:mad:
if anyone has ever watched everybody loves raymond my m/ law is marie!

inlaws eh?...I am happy to say i don't own any of those lol.

Can't you speak to them Claire? Just explain that you and your husband are beginning to feel a bit presurized. I can appreciate it's probably a very difficult thing to do but it's really not fair that yourself and your husband live with this stress.

I lived right across the street from my Mother for almost 10 years.
I love her and she was a really big help with the kids BUT if the boys ever got into trouble they would run over there and then I'd have to hear a sermon about how I need to be more lenient!
The only advise that I can give is pick your battles cuz if you let everything get to you then it's going to literally drive you round the bend!!!
Just remember to BREATHE ;)
