Ears and Cold

Hi everyone,

my health anxiety is up to its old tricks again.

i have a cold, and have done for 4 days now, i dont think its swine flu, as i have no temp and i dont feel really weak, no more so than usual with my anx anyway.

i had 2 days of worrying that my throat was closing, the last 2 nights ive convinced myself its closing over, i can clear it by coughing. really stressed me out big time.
in the last hour, my ear has started feeling full and aching a bit, is this normal?
i have been blowing my nose a bit to much today so thats probably why, it just scared me, and now im sitting here, thinking my throat will close, i wont be able to breathe and my ear is aching.

Im after some words of encouragement here, my misses keeps saying "its just a cold" and i know shes right.
But my health anxiety is making me think its much worse. like i said i dont think its swine flu, because from what ive heard, i think id know. i just want to feel an improvement, its 4 days now and it still seems to get a bit worse each day.
