sharp headache when standing up

Hi all, would anyone know what the cause of a sharp pain in my head when i stand up?

I have had a headache for the past few days & it sees to have gone but when ever i go from sitting to standing suddenly i get a really bad pain in my head? Is it a pregnancy thing? x

I could have typed this, I have had this all day, everytime I stand up I walk abit and then it hits, all down one side of my head, it then eases off as I stay up right.

I think with me it's down to dehydration and tension.

I have had this in the past, but getting it abit more often recently.
