last september I had a bacterial infection in my leg from a mozzie bite. I eanded up in A&E and was put on antibiotics.this cleared up the infection but I was left walking lame for some time. I visited the gp before christmas as my inner shin was aching especially after hard cycling and walking. He said it would just take time to sort itself out. Now 5 months on and my shins still ache, especially after exercise.
I have googled aching legs and it has come up with all sorts from shin splints to dvt and bone cancer!! I have now scared myself silly!! will I ever learn!
My leg is not swollen, no sign of bruising, but just aches on my shin bone after exercise. it also sometimes feels tight after a bath?Anyone else had this? What could it be? can these things really take so long to heal?
