Upsetting moments....

You know what I am having a hard time with today - A young women (22) at my husband's work was diagnosed with an illness (it doesn't matter which illness and I do NOT want to make any of my health anxiety friends "think" if you know what I mean)...I don't even know her and this is so upsetting to me. I have been reading her Caring Bridge website and I just want to cry! I have to stop....but I feel guilty!

So, has anyone else read/heard about someone else's illness or diagnoses and thought OMG this could happen to me? It could be anyone - someone you have never met ....is this part of health anxiety??

i think it probably does upset people with h/a more but when you hear of anything bad about such a young person who has their whole life in front of them youd have to have a heart of stone not to feel for them or am i just being soft ? good luck to her who ever she is xx
