feels like an allergic reaction

Hi, Im fairly new to this site, tend to read other posts mainly and get a lot of comfort from knowing I'm (maybe) not going mad. Worst thing I've had recently is feeling like my throat swelling and closing up, keep thinking I'm having some kind of allergic reaction to something and going to have anaphylactic shock. Is this a common symptom or is it just me? X :scared15:

It's very common. I've dealt with it and it's scary at first. Then after you realize it's anxiety related it turns from being scary to just another annoying symptom!!
