For years I have had problems with constantly going to the loo (to pass water). Have had 100s of tests for water infections, plus kidney x rays etc etc but nothing abnormal ever found. I suffer from bad anxiety and panic attacks and just recently wondering if this is another symptom of anxiety? Has anyone else had this? It does seem worse when anxiety is at it's height. Can't sleep, up 15-20 times a night sometimes, feel drained and exhausted plus extra anxiety about maybe there is something physically wrong. Any advice gratefully received as always X

Def a symptom of anxiety plus your bladder has probably learned "bad ways" if that makes sense?

Also, do you drink a lot of tea and coffee? They're diuretics (which make you wee more).

Hi, I used to suffer repeatedly from what felt like UTIs and was eventually diagnosed with an irritable/overactive bladder caused by stress/anxiety. It still flares up from time to time but I take medication called Detrusitol, which helps. I also take cranberry extract capsules and really notice if I run out of them. Drinking cranberry juice should also help but I find the capsules even better.

I saw a tv program about a young woman with a weak bladder and they did a test where they filled her bladder with fluid and used some kin of machine/computer to see any problems with her bladder.
just maybe if it's a big problem for you, there may be a bladder specialist you could see.
