Hi....i suppose this is where i introduce myself.......im not even sure what im meant to write....

Im 20 years of age and found this website today when i searched 'aggrophobia'.
I have suffered from depression from a young age but thought that i was passed it until a couple of days ago......

I have been put back on my medication (Fluoxetine) but havent taken it yet. I went to councelling briefly 18 months ago when i thought i was ready to face my problems head on.......

I now realise that this was far too early as i was still in denial as to what they were.......

im really lonely and i make myself isolated as i feel anxious and panicky when im out and around but only sometimes.....especially now.......i cant face work...the thought makes me feel sick.......i was on a bus to work recently and i was worrying that when the bus stopped i would have to walk past people to get off!!!!!!!! Ive got a christening to go to next year and im god mum......and all i can think about is how worried i am to stand up in front of people and say stuff........Im going on holiday in June and im worrying that we might go to an event where theres audience participation and the dread i feel when i think about it makes me feel sick. (im even worrying that i havent done this right and that it will be posted in the wrong area)....stupid arent i!!!

Im sick of feeling like this and i hope (really hope) that i can stop feeling like this

Well thats a few of my problems........and a bit of info bout me

Thanks for reading......

Hello Leigh

Glad its only sometimes that you feel panicky when you're out and about , so I guess it depends on your outlook on that day.

You are suffering from excessive anticipatory anxiety if you are already worrying a lot about June and the Christening.

Maybe you could get some more counselling but best if it were CBT which would address these projected fears.
