Dihydrocodeine

hi can anyone tell me if they have been on dihydrocodiene? i was perscribed this by my dentist as im in alot of pain, im told its great for pain but im worried about side effects and what not.

i have taken this & it is a fantastic painkiller,the only side effect i had was constipation although when you first take it it can in some people make you feel slightly lightheaded but this wears off & it,s not to say it will happen to you.unfortunatly all types of medication has some side effects & all people are individuals - what affects 1 may not affect another,try not to think to much of any side effects & just get the pain relief - good luck

Hi there..I take a combination of dihydrocodeine and paracetamol and have done on a daily basis for a while. The amount of dihydrocodeine in each tablet is 10mg and Dr's instructions are "Two twice daily when necessary". Only side effect I have experienced is constipation, but am a bit prone to that anyway. For short term pain relief should be fine. XX
