Mirtazipine and red wine

Hi, Does anyone know if I was to have a couple of glasses of the red stuff tonight how it will effect me??? I know you are not suposed to drink alcohol whilst on ad's, but I was o.k when i took citalopram and drank in moderation, really not sure with mirt. Dont want to spoil anything by doing this...Any advise???? Jo.

I take Mirtazapine (and other meds). I have a few glasses of wine at my friend's house on a Friday evening and I am fine. I know that it says not to drink with while taking them and there is probably a very good reason not to, but I enjoy my wine and natter evenings:blush:
