vision things?

Hi all, I wonder if anyone can shed any light on this for me:

When I am relaxing in the dark, after about 5 mins I start seeing green swirling clouds in my vision. they grow over the minutes and get more intense while I focus on it. this is happening with eye lids open or closed.

This also happens when I play on my Xbox. sometimes it looks like it is coming more from my upper peripheral vision when I am on xbox, but when I am relaxing it starts from all over my vision.

I have read a little on alpha waves so I wonder if it may be anything to do with these???

I get exactly the same thing, I've allways been a bit curious about those "Blobs" However never worried. I cant really identify the colour though.

The thing is, I actually find those blobs a bit..wel..funny, It helps me relax & sleep when I close my eyes and focus on them. No idea why..

It could be that years of Gaming & watching tv made my eyes a bit...coocoo, A bit crazy :P

This can be caused by bright lights .ie xbox ,computer .etc But it is always worth getting your eyesight checked ,as there are other things that can cause it too .If anything it will put your mind at rest .Sue
