hi,
its brad again. i have never been a person that has been at all Anxious, but over the last few weeks i have developed fears about things that i never even thought about; like going insane. i was just wondering if this happend to anyone else and how to stop it. my other question is if any of you guys actully go and seek profesional help.

hi again Brad,

These fears that you have are very common. One thing that you will soon learn about anxiety is that your brain will come up with millions of 'what ifs?': what if i go mad? what if i have a brain tumour? what if i have a heart attack?, etc.

about seeking professional help: I think that most of us on here have done so at some point. One thing to remember though: The point of professional help (in my opinion) is to show you how to deal with the anxiety and slowly overcome it. In other words, they give you the formula, but you have to solve the problem. It all comes from within as for each one of us, te method by which to overcome anxiety is slightly different. :D
