hi,

over the last few days i found a new way to freak myself out. when i am walking through the school or outside i begin to belive that i am standing on the ceiling of something and i am just stuck to it. i also start to freak out because i think at any given moment everything is going to go upside down and i am going to fall. i dont like this feeling so i was hopeing if someone could help me.

thanks,

Brad.

Take your mind off this thought then it won't wind you up.

When it comes into your head think of a stop sign and move on to other thoughts. Or try counting or singing - these are good distractions.

"Supposing a tree fell down, Pooh, when we were underneath it?" said Piglet.
"Supposing it didn't," said Pooh after careful thought.

Hi Brad,
It is easy to let your random thoughts take over and then you start the what if thing which is a really hard habit to break. I used to have thoughts like that alot and I had to start telling myself,as soon as the thought popped into my head, well that is just silly - and find something else to think about. I love music - so I would think of the first song to pop into my head and try to remember all the lyrics. I know it sounds weird but it really worked for me.
I hope this reply makes sense. I sometimes tend to ramble :)
Hope you feel better soon :)
