starlings

Just had to post because just heard bout the starlings flock dying..how sad...I love birds they cheer me up no end listening to their busy goings on in the morning and early evening.. and it really has upset me...

I always say I know I'm alive when I here the daily chirpings and twitterings of our feathered friends... couldn't imagine not having that sound ..

Anyways just wanted to say it to let it out x

I don't know the story you talk about but it does indeed sound sad. I too love my feathered friends. They all have such different personalities. At different times of the day the birds visit my garden and bird table. The pigeons like bread or biscuits thrown onto the ground, the blackbirds come in twos, the male first then he whistles on his mrs! The starlings, one comes first, checks it out thenshouts on all the other starlings nad they take turns at eating the contents of the table.
Watching birds makes me feel at peace.
