I had an assessment appointment yesterday. It was an emergency referral. The psychiatrist refused to see me and sent a CPN. I didn't get the assessment. He simply said he would present my file - 4 years worth, there are doctors there that know my case - and call me with their decision today.
I have been allowed a PRN finally, but am not being offered any additional support. The psychiatrist didn't look at my medication either - I have had problems with a lot of typical anti depressants.
Is this standard practice if you've been in the system a long time? I feel so rejected and am terrified I will be stuck in this hell forever...
