Pain under right lower rib

The pain or discomfort I suffer under my right rib seems to be a fairly common problem with other members on here as well. The doctors and specialists seem somewhat confused as to what this could be. I personally believe this to be associated with possible IBS, especially as this becomes prominent after a bowel movement and last for about 2 hours after things settle down. Just wondered if any other sufferers have had any luck being diagnosed as to what this could be? Gallbladder has been removed and liver functions are normal with negative xrays and CT and ultrasound scans.

I get this on and off and I have bile reflux. I take lansoprazole. I think the right sided ache is very common, also with ibs. It doesn't seem to be anything serious and antacids and watching your diet can help. It seems to be a common complaint because I've seen other posts about it, so you're not alone.
