Itchy hands and feet

I have been suffering from trally itchy soles of my feet and palms of my hands on and off for the last few days; it comes and goes. I know that this can be a sign of certain illnesses and of course I'm worried (wouldn't be me if I didn't!) Should I mention it to my doctor and does anyone else have this?

Hello Mondie,
I've had this before and I really wonder if it's when I'm anxious that it happens. I always take an antihistamine (well, half of one actually) and find that it goes. (The non-drowsy ones). Maybe not a good habit to get into but I feel I need some relief when it happens.

Anyone else get this, it's starting to freak me out, took an anti histamine but it only went away for a little while and now it is back again
