CBT am i getting recorded ???

Does anyone know if you get recorded during your CBT therapy sessions ???

Just out of matter of intrest really are they allowed to record you with out your permission??

Just my CBT therapist drags a suitcase around with her and if i am at the center before her she will ask me to wait in the seating area whilst she gets set up, but i dont know what she sets up because she normally only has a questionaire (score sheet) marks out of 10 how you have been feeling this week.....:unsure:

Not that i have any problem with it but it would be nice to know??

do u mean film or voice record?
I have cbt and one week my therapist was doing an experiment and asked if i would give my permission to video record me.
Im pretty sure they would have to ask your permssion or at least let you know.
Have you tried asking your therapist?

15. It is illegal to record on tape/cd any therapy session either in full or in part without the expressed and preferably written permission of the patient.

Nobody is allowed to record you without your permission. Some CBT practitioners record sessions but they make this clear beforehand. Britain is a paperwork nightmare so the briefcase will be full of documents, medical data, notes etc.
