How long does MRI appointment take to come through post?

I had an appointment with a neurologist last Wednesday.

Do I have to make the appointment myself? I'm sure he said I would get something in the post?!

All hospitals work differently - at mine the neuro gave me a form asking me to ring the hospital after 2 days for mri appt and they gave me on within 2 weeks but other hospitals will just send them out. Why don't you ring neuro secretary and ask what is happening - they know everything:)

You should get it through the post from the specific department. It'll depend on how busy the list is and how urgent it is as to when you will be allocated an appointment.
