Over the past week I've been prodding my neck no end, and it's getting to me.
The muscles that serve the throat etc that move when I swallow are what are bothering me. I don't know whether they are lymph nodes or not?
When I swallow, both sides, under my jaw tense and move down (as the do in most people I imagine - but if I hold that "tense" there and prod, I can feel nodes on the muscle. The muscle itself kind of feels like a small round ball when tensed, but totally disappears when relaxed. If I prod really deep when it's relaxed I can feel it again slightly though.
The right hand side feels a little larger when tensed and relaxed.
What does it feel like to you if you tense your neck muscles up? Can you feel a hardness under your neck?
The muscle that I think should be there just kind of feels like it's got 2, maube 3 small hard nodes on it (ranging from grain of rice to half a pea maybe?)
I dunno if I'm even making sense?
I just wish I could feel someone elses neck!
