Today whilst at my psychologist she suggested I look at my breathing as I should breathe 8-10 breaths a minute,and that I might be overbreathing without knowing it, putting this to the test and hoping to prove her wrong I timed how many breaths I take in a minute to my astonishment I took 15, how long have I been doing this? I am teaching myself to breathe properly as I type this. At first it was hard slowing it down and I started to panic because I couldn't get enough air and my chest hurt a little I thought there was definately something wrong but I kept going and I'm amazed at the calm I'm feeling right now my deep chest pains in the middle of my chest were relieved...if you haven't already count your breathes per minute it just might make a difference
