Whichever ever side of the fence you sit, it's that time again. The swingometer is being readied and the BBC will be humming with this that and the other inconsequential fact about Lesser Little Snoring man.
But if the door is knocked upon, open it politely and ask "What does your prospective MP intended to do about LOCAL mental health support? Not national policy, but local reality? Ask them if they've ever talked to the local mental health team? Do they know the local needs?".
Don't let them off the hook, I only went to see about my mild depression because a government funded study flagged depression up as a major problem akin in danger to well funded physical problems such as cancer.
