Dear Rethink Supporter,
Today, the General Election was called for May 6th. Please join Ruby Wax, Stephen Fry and Arthur Smith in demanding a government that cares about mental illness - by signing the Rethink petition.
Why signing the petition is important
Rethink wants to ensure that new Members of Parliament remember that 1 in 4 people are affected by mental health problems, and many are STILL:
missing out on basic treatments and information
facing discrimination in everyday life and
too often locked up in prison without any healthcare.
The government will only act if we can show that thousands of people really do 'care about mental illness, and want a government that cares too'.
We need 10,000 signatures and will be taking the petition to Downing Street after the election. With 5,905 signatures, we're already halfway there but really need to keep the momentum going.
You can help - please sign the petition today and ask your friends and family to sign up too.
