I'm new here and thought I'd post some links/contact information for the organisations/people who have helped me with my anxiety.

Stone Cross House in Minehead
This was where I received treatment from a CPN who was absolutely fantastic. She was the one who actually referred me to get me into supported accommodation which has helped me cope with my health issues. Everyone there was professional, friendly and gave excellent treatment.
I also had CBT there with a different person..she was actually the first person to get me out of my home for almost 3 years!
They don't have an official website but details can be found here http://www.nhs.uk/servicedirectories/pages/hospital.aspx?id=rh569

Sanctuary Housing
They provided me with low level supported accommodation. In the south-west they have flats in Dulverton and Watchet (and I currently know they have 4 empty flats coming up in watchet.. one of which is mine which i moved out of 3 days ago!). I got help from a support worker who came to see me once a week and helped to encourage me to receive help and give me the kick up the butt that I needed to do day-to-day things, as well as making sure as i was alright. He also helped me with any problems I had, helped me contact people such as doctors/benefits/council etc.. and was always on the end of the phone if i needed someone.
It's not just for people with anxiety problems, they help people with all sorts of mental health problems, learning difficulties, substance abuse etc..

Foyer
This is where i've currently moved to.. i've moved to the supported housing they offer in Weston-super-mare but there's 'foyers' up and down the country which provides accommodation and support for people between the ages of 16-30 (usually, it may differ from place to place). Self contained flats with community rooms, confidence-building workshops, cctv and security guard for peace of mind, support plans and sessions, and support workers based in the building every single day. They help with all sorts of problems to help you manage your life and to hopefully get you back on track to move on to independent living.

Friend in Weston-super-mare
I haven't been here yet so I can't comment on how good their service is but I will be going there soon so will let you know :) It's a mental health center which is a place to go in and to chat to people... it's not councelling.. just a friendly place for people with mental health problems to chat and share experiences.

This may not be of any use to most of you but I'm noticed quite a few people on this site from the Somerset area, but the sanctuary and foyer links also provide accommodation help to people up and down the country too, and i know that a lot of people who suffer from anxiety and live alone can become very lonely if they're not receiving any help, so hopefully these links will help at least one person! If not.. at least i tried :)

This sounds really good Swissyroly. I am glad that these organisations were able to help you and give you confidence to face up to living again. Well done. I don't live in Somerset and am well over your age range but plenty of people do live in Somerset who use this site. I have heard of Sanctuary housing in Essex (where I live). Fortunately for me I don't need such services now but in the past it might have been useful.
