I have recently come across this site after suffering from panic and anxiety attacks since October 2009. I was in hospital for about a month after a routine appendix op went wrong and I ended up in ITU.
I have now developed panic attacks since....any help or advice would be appreciated.

Hello Ian,
It's no wonder you feel like you do after your ordeal. I've heard of others who have started suffering from panic after illnesses/operations. You will get lots of support here from people who are feeling or have felt like you do. You're not alone.
