stomock moving

hi all

does anybody notice when then laying flat that their stomock pulses up and down. when i press my fingers deep into my stomock i can feel a really strong pulse. is this normal does anybody else have this?

totally normal, you have the aortic artery running through the middle of your body. That's just it's pulse. I often notice it more in the bath but do see it lying in bed too. The harder you push down on your stomach to test the harder it has to push the blood through, so it can seem like it's a strong beat.

This is why it also seems more apparent when you hold your stomach in when lying down.
