Dizzy spells

Hi all,

Have been having headaches since last fri, which today seemed a bit better.

But I had a bit of a shock. Am at work when the back of my head seemed to suddenly get very tight and dizzy very quickly. My eyes for a few seconds started to lose a bit of focus and it then subsided.

About an hour or so on I still have a tight head at the back but otherwise fine.

Something similar happened yesterday too, but not as bad.

What you reckon?

Blood pressure? Have had similar since yesterday

had it taken day before yesterday. 128/98.

Not sure how good/bad that is?

not dangerously so though...

sounds like a little harmless quirk to me...wouldnt read too much into it :)

My head still feels tight & im a little dizzy.

Ill put it down to tension and anxiety. Dont know what else it could be.

Given your anxiety level at moment waiting for your scan I wouls say you have severe tension in your neck muscles - do they feel tight and sore especially where your neck joins your head and tight neck muscles cause dizziness.

I have alot of damage to my neck and neurosurgeon told me that all his neck patients have dizziness trouble because you have balance receptors in your neck bones and muscles and when you muscles are tense for any reason including simple anxiety then it affects the signals the receptors send to your ears.

Thanks country girl thats interesting i'm always tense in my neck that explains quite a bit x
