Citalopram !!!!!!

I've been on 20mg of Citalopram for a year now and I'm so glad I have, it has helped so much. Twelve months ago I was crying my eyes out while holding my husband hand trying to swallow the little dreaded pill, convinced I was going to have a heart attack, I didn't and it has changed my life however my doctor has reduce my meds from 20mg to 10mg and was shocked to discover that only 5 days in on the 10mg, the eptopics, flutters and head rushes are sneeking back in, I find this quite disturbing how quickly it is returning? I feel fine but it's knocked me for 6. Is this normal when you cut your meds down.

Yes it can happen, just try and see how it goes for a little while, your brain is probably adjusting to the lower dose, and will level out soon. Don't worry you can always ask to increase your dose again. Some people can cope on 10mg but others need 20mg to remain stable. :)
