Your anxiety is the human representation of the pictures that you paint using your many vivid colours of revolving and reoccurring thoughts.

I know how you feel, I worry at night, every night. as a child I was scared of the dark, this may or may not be linked to my panic, but it kinda paints you a picture of where I am at.

I will now make a statement, read it three times, disregarding everything you have ever been told about panic.--- here goes...

Panic is the fear of being frightened. The most common source of fear is death.

"I'm having a heart attack"

or

" Its night time, I am alone, if I have a heart attack, no body will be there to save me"

BULLSH!T

If, for instance, night time is the worse for you, find a distraction ( I am typing this at 3:30 am) - hoover, clean, fix something, but above all, STOP WORRYING ABOUT THE POSSIBILITY THAT YOU MIGHT WORRY!

If you have an attack, dare your body to kill you.

"C'mon then, do your worst! I'm ready to die.... so kill me."

OOPS! nothing happens. YOU are in control of your own destiny, panic does not exist in anywhere but the mind. It is only a thought process, nothing more, it can't hurt you---- BUT YOU THINK IT MIGHT!

We are not alone. Here, I'll hold your hand untill you fall asleep.:hugs:
