I started the combined pill (loestrin 20) midcycle, GP said to and that it would be fine, he said I won't get my 'period' now until I finish the packet next weekend even though my regular cycle would have started bleeding today. I have a niggle down my right side low down and I am freting that my period is going to arrive, I have an issue with periods since my D&C 4 months ago, he has put me on the pill to help control the heavy periods I am having.
My GP says I won't get my regular period even though I started the pill on day 15/16 of my cycle but I feel so on edge with this pain (it could be ibs).
Is it unlikely I will have my period as ivebeen on the pill for 2 weeks now and it says you only need a barrier method of contraception for 7 days after starting it after day 4 of your cycle, so surely it's working?
In a little panic again today:blush:
