I'm a jazz singer. Knowing how to do breathing exercises from all those lessons really helps when I start panicking!

I'm a hobbyist musician, and I don't usually find that my anxiety is tied in with any music-related activities. I think it can improve or aggravate my stress levels though. Playing onstage or jamming with friends can give me a huge mood boost, for instance, whereas having a difficult time coming up with fresh ideas can leave me mentally drained sometimes. But it's definitely a great, if temporary, escape from the negative things in life :D
