dealin with family members illness

hi all.
I found out yesterday that my dad had a core biopsy on his breast as there was a lumph He doesnt say much about his health or treatment and I was a bit stunned when he gave me the mandatory folder for beast cancer. I have got to ring the clinic nurses to see what the situation is as he goes back in 3 weeks for another op. I am not a weaklingbut I cannot conntrol my nerves my emotions or anything today, cananyone advise please

Oh Jean, I am really sorry to hear this.

You need to be strong, sometimes we don't even realise how strong we really are until life put us through tough tests like this one for you.

I wish your dad all the best with his surgery. I understand you still don't have the results of the biopsy? So it might just be nothing to worry about.

Bless you Marco. why do we feel so alone when this situation arises. I have siblings but we are dysfunctional to say the least. I am the youngest so deal with it . I live 30 miles away so bit of a jaunt if anything happens.
