Hi everyone.

I'm 22 and have suffered with social phobia/agoraphobia/anxiety in general since I was 15. I was recently due to move out of my parents' home but suddenly got a case of cold feet and kind of retreated into a panic/depression. My GP has just prescribed me Propranolol (to take alongside Citalopram) and has referred me to a counsellor (or therapist, I don't quite know) who I have an appointment with tomorrow.

Hi There

Welcome to NMP! You'll find plenty of info regarding symptoms and your medication on this site. Citalopram is great but you must give it time to work. The side effects can be BAD for some, so if you're feeling out of sorts just remember that.
