Hi People

I'm a bit shaken up whilst writing this.
I have just had a call from one of my best friends (Nettie). I couldn't understand what she was saying as she was crying so much. It turns out that her brother (Jamie) collapsed this morning.

They thought at first it was a heart attack but on checking, it tuned out not to be the case. All's i know is it's his Brain and the family have been told that there is nothing more that can be done.

Nettie is now en-route from her home in Yorkshire with her teenage son, leaving her daughters with her partner.

Can we please pray for some sort of miracle for Jamie, he's only 37 years old and for a safe journey for Nettie and she is in a terrible state.

Thankyou everyone

Lisa

Hi folks

Thank you all so much for your lovely well wishes and i will pass them on as soon as i am able to.

I don't want to go into too much detail as there are many people here who suffer from health Anxiety.

All's i will say however is it's not looking very promising at all. His family and loved ones are by his side as we speak and the next few hours are critical.

Hi folks

Jamie was pronounced dead this morning after having the brain stem test done. His family and friends were with him and Lynette and her mum are still by his side.

Out of a terrible tragedy like this though bring so much life and hope to so many other people as the family have decided to donate all of his organs to those in dire need.

Thank you all for your prayers and well wishes. It is very very much appreciated indeed.

such sad news to hear Lisa. I am so pleased they decided to donate though - that was very brave of them to decide so soon after his death.

It will be a difficult time for them all to come to terms with for now though.

Hi folks

Ive not seen Lynette yet but her and Jamie's dad popped in here earlier for a cup of tea. I think he just needed to go somewhere away from everything if that makes sence!. Anyway he's baring up well and even managed a wee laugh too.

I think the organ donation is an amazing thing. Like nic said, it must be so difficult to make that decission especially as a parent when it's your child involved.

You lot have helped me to help them.

Love Lisa

I'm sorry for your loss. Do you know how many lives he will save, or change for the better, with the donation of his organs? It could be a dozen or more. He left a gift behind.
