Does anyone have this problem? I thought it was the benzodiazepine I was on (which it did say on the form it could cause extra saliva) because I woke up a couple of nights ago and my mouth was full of water. I wasn't sure if I had an upset stomach or it was my irritable bowel) - so I am now on Ativan, which I checked and it isn't supposed to cause this. I remember having anxiety years ago, and also throughout the years when I was feeling better that occasionally my mouth would feel watery. Makes me feel very nervous.
Can anxiety cause this? Does this happen to anyone else and if so, does anything help? Sometimes I use mouthwash - otherwise I just try to get my mind off of it.

I had this problem a few years ago but never found the cause. I'd dribble quite a lot at night and wake up with a wet pillow. Can't remember how long it went on for but it seemed to stop on its own. I think some viruses and colds can cause it so it might be that.
