I woke up on Sunday morning after sleeping at a hotel and had a pain/stiffness in my right side of my neck and a dull throbbing ache that goes into the base of my skull and up my head, of course I think it must be a brain tumor... went to the doc today and she thinks I may have slept wrong and pulled a muscle. Anyone else ever had this?

yes yes yes.

neck pain is tension and so is thwe pain you feel in your head.

people like us never fully relax and are always on red alert to symptoms.
i dont think there is one of us who are free from neck pain

quite literally it is all a pain in the neck but you are not alone, far from it

hope this helps

I have neck pain everyday. Massage doesn't even get all the knots out.
I amaze them of how bad they are and only anxiety!.
I have had anti-inflammatory and they work, but my stomach can't take it anymore.
Removing the tension would help, but still learning how to do this.

The tension I have put on my neck and throat is the worst! I am having problems with my ears and sinus draining. I went to the massage therapist yesterday and she squeezed and massged my neck muscle called the sternocleidomastoid (SCM) and she almost cured me! I can swallow again! The tension has eased! I can feel my sinus and ears draining in the back of my throat. Nasty, but it is a welcomed feeling! Tension in the neck is no good! Amazing how we can store and hold tension iun certain areas. has anyone else had the throat problems due to neck tension?
