sorry sorry sorry for all these questions at once but how do you incorporate exercise into your life when you constantly fear a heart attack

i used to swim, cycle and jog. now even though i am about 7 stone i am so busy with 5 kids and so afraid that i do noexercise.{never off my feet though with 4 kids under 3} id love to no if anyone has conquered this

I think you may have answered the question already. Surely running around after 4 kids is more exercise than swimming, cycling etc.

If you don't fear it when doing those things then try and relate that to doing any form of exercise as it is all the same.

Swimming can be very gentle and very good at toning so start with that.

Exercise makes the heart stronger so it can only be a good thing can't it?

The other thing to do is to go to a gym and tell them you have stress chest pains and to work you out a graduated programme or failing that go for a run outside an A+E dept till you prove to yourself you are ok and not in any danger.
