Pain behind my right eye.......

Ive had this stabbing pain behind my right eye all day and its freaking me out.
Has any one experienced this or have any idea what it might be?

It could be a symptom of migraine, though you don't say if you suffer with this? Its common to get pain behind the eye with this type of headache (vascular) and migraine usually sticks to one side of the head and face only. Do you think there may be a connection with any headaches that you get?

Hi,
Yeah I do get migraines, they have never started with a pain behind my eye before tho.
Its a very localised feeling, a stabbing rather than an ache.
I have been extremely stressed lately though so I guess a migraine is due..............

Maybe its sinusitis.
