Hello, I'm new to this, I was recommended to join by my son.
I am trying to get off Seroxat and would love to hear if anyone has successfully done this. I was advised to ask my doctor to change my prescription for an alternative which is easier to withdraw from.
I have a prescription now for Cymbalta (Duloxetina) and after 6 days I am now a weeping, dizzy, wreck. I have just checked it out and there seem to be even more problems withdrawing from it that from Seroxat.
Unfortunately because I am an ex-pat living in the Canary Islands and don't yet speak fluent Spanish, I can't communicate these difficult concepts to my doctor with confidence, so I tried NHS direct who refused to talk to me. So I don't know where to turn for advice, can anyone help?

Hi,

Have you looked through the threads on seroxat...I think you will find that there are some people on there coming off the meds and it will help you.

Take care and hope it goes well for you.
