Advise needed/husband....

My hubby had a physical today. He is slightly anemic and the white blood count was SLIGHTLY down. The dr has him set up to do a bone marrow biospy next Thursday and a colonostopy on next Fri. Anyone else gone thru this? I am trying not to worry....but its hard. They are just doing it is a precaution I guess, but that seems extreme??? Any advise needed. TY

hiya... i can't say that i've got the same thing as this - but i'm going to a general surgeon tomorrow to possibly have a fine needle biopsy done on a lump that has been under my chin for a while now. My blood tests came back reporting that my red blood cells were slightly up, and my liver function was a bit off :-S

Evidently, I am worrying at the moment also. I'm hoping that all these tests are just precautionary - however the pace at which they are investigating the lump is making me nervous. I had an ultrasound last friday, saw my doctor today for the results, and have the appointment with the surgeon tomorrow!
