Hi there!

I have a terrible lump feeling in my throat and chest pains between the the top of my ribs. Moreover, my throat feels scratchy. I'm not sure if this is anxiety or if I'm having some form of an allergic reaction. It's really bothering me and I was hoping I could learn a lot here.

Kind regards,

FrogThroat [^]

frog throut you are most likely to be suffering something we all suffer from, anxiety felated lump called globus hystericus . it is not dangerous and is caused by your anxiety.

also if you are like me i suffer from chest pain which has been investigated and is apparently tension driven and a bit of muscular pain from the tension.

i reccomend you read a book by dr claire weekes called self help for your nerves. get it as soon as you can as it will explain what you might be going through and demystify it a bit

i hope this helps. feel free to send me a private message if you feel it will help

Have you got a past history of anxiety and panic ?
Have you seen a doctor about it at all ?

Welcome aboard.

I too have the throat problem and am seeing an ENT specialist next week to have it checked out but it is more than likely anxiety.

Hope you get some great support on here.
