I've recently had loads of stress due to an enlarged lymph node on the left side of my neck. Seen the doctor a couple of times and the blood test came back fine. he's sending me to a ear nose and throat specialist next week, and i'm going mad with worry! I haven't had any other symptoms like fatigue or night sweats.

When I was a kid I had a infection that made the lymph node on my neck swell up like a golf ball, so I'm wondering if this could cause the lymph node to feel permanently swollen?

Thanks

I have a lymph node in my neck which has never gone down to its original size due to having mumps as a child, it feels huge compared to the one on the other side of neck. Hope this helps releive your worries slightly.
