Can anyone please tell me if they know anything about the SSRI Zoloft? Going to ask the doctor about it tomorrow? I hear its one of the better ones?

Hi

Zoloft is called Lustral in the UK. I took it for several years and am switching back to it as Effexor hasn't been working too well for me. With all the SSRIs, it's a question of finding the one that works for you. Seroxat worked best for me, but I got a lot of side effects, Lustral worked reasonably well with fewer side effects. It reduced my anxiety and panic, as well as making my mood lift.

There is a sub-board under medication that is all about Lustral (Sertraline), so maybe worth taking a look at that.

Feel free to ask any specific questions.

It's supposed to have a good efficacy and at the same time seems to have a lower side effect profile than most. It didn't work very well with me, but then again I don't think any do.
