If you are stressed you are often also run down from the immune system point of view, so yes, I would say!

Where are the glands that you are worried about Zippy?

The one behind my left ear is up and i think thats why my arms aching.Also my side and left leg is aching.I have been under tremendous stress with my aunt dying 2 weeks ago and a breast lump scare.It seems like its just my left side though.

i think stress can affect your lymph nodes..sounds like u've been under immense stress. have u had an infection/cut anywhere nearby..as this can cause them to come up?
if it's still up in a week just get u'r gp to have a look at it.

Gosh, it sounds like you have been under IMMENSE stress, I am not surprised that your glands are inflammed, your immune system must be a bit battered.

I think a few early nights and some lovely food are in order for you!
