tomorrow is the 20th anniversary of my fathers death.i miss him and wish he could see my beautiful wife and children,he would have adored them.
he died from cancer of the spine and lungs.the last thing i ever told him was that liverpool had just clinched the title.i have been crying hard today remembering how he told my mum that i had been so gentle pushing him around the grounds of the hospital in his wheelchair,better than the nurses he said.i hold on to that dearly,that he recognised my cherishing of my dying daddy.he had been ill for years and when the phone call came,i uttered the words "thank god,peace now".:weep:
i have cried oceans about my daddy in the last 20 years.my mother will get a huge bunch of beautiful flowers tomorrow,she was as loyal as any wife could be,and never left his side when many would.i love them both to eternity.
