No voice after taking fluoxetine!

Hey

i started taking fluoxetine about a week ago, for the last 2 days ive had a really swollen throat, its not sore or anything, just red and inflamed. Now ive totally lost my voice, and i dont know if thats a normal side effect or if i should talk to my doctor? I cant speak at all :(

Swelling of the lips and throat can be a side effect ..It would be wise to spk to your Dr if only to put your mind at rest .It may be just a virus ,but you need to be sure .Hope it gets sorted soon .Sue x

I know that it can be a side eeffect in some people, but I would advise talking to your doctor about it as soon a possible just to make sure it's not too much of a worry :)
