I've gone 2 weeks haven't had a panic attack, but I nearly had one this afternoon. But thankfully I managed to control it.

It seems that when walking uphill, the chance of getting a panic attack seems greater....any ideas why?

Are palpitations part of your panic attacks? I had really bad palpitations that ended me up in the ER a few times with pulses in the 150's or so. All my EKG's came back fine. I am now finally starting to be able to exercise some again, but when I look at a hill, I still get scared that I will get palpitations. So, I just go slow. The Cardiologist said to not take my pulse, and just take some deep breaths to calm myself.

Yea I think so... I heard a big thump and then I probably thought crap...then i just started with deep breaths and my friend next to me said 'your ears are turning red' but after the deep breaths i was ok again.

Just go slow and keep challenging it - the fear will eventually go away.
