There are a lot of art threads here! I only just found this part of the forum :D

I find photography really helps to reduce my anxiety as Im too busy concentrating on getting a nice shot to have time for an attack. So Ive been doing a lot of photography these past few weeks :)

I love taking pictures of flowers and you're photos have completely astounded me, really really amazing and breathtakingly stunning.

Thanks. See if your camera has a macro function, its usually an little icon of a tulip style flower. When you use that it allows you to get in closer :)

I tried a few on macro, but I don't think I have a satisfactory amount of mega pixels to get really close, how much does your camera have Vixxy, infact, what camera do you have?

Those were all taken with a Nikon D40 (entry level DSLR). The ones of the roses had some extra magnifying filters added.
I was using a Canon powershot a590is before to take some macro shots, its not as powerful, but you can still get some nice results. Set your camera settings to the largest size photo it can produce, then you can crop it and end up with a pretty close image :)
