Bit of spotting has sent anxiety soaring

I started my period 7 days ago and normally it finishes on day 5. However, I have just wiped and there was a bit of bloody discharge. I am now in complete state of anxiety. Has anyone else had this????

Yeah loads it's normal to have spotting and sometimes periods last longer than others. Don't worry hun it's All part of being a woman xxx

I have definately had it many times before, completely normal. Freaked me out at one stage so I asked a few of my friends as well if it ever happened to them and they all said yes! It is just the 'tail end' of your period, making its way out

I always get this, I even have spotting and watery bloody on day 8 or 9, when ive had nothing for a day or two.

Thank you guys - your replies made me feel calm. Had a bit more after sex though this morn (day 8 after period) and am trying to not freak that it is Cervical C - arghhh! Have doc appt on Tues so will mention it then. Will try not to let my huge HA worry this weekend.... xx
