Started Citalopram 10 mg when should I increase?

Hi

Looking for advice, I started Citalopram 10 mg 7 days ago. I am having the usual side effects but are just about manageable when I keep thinking they are only temporary. I don't know whether to go to 15mg for a week then 20mg. Keep on 10 mg for 2 weeks in total and then go to 20mg?

My doctor said 10mg 7 days then 20mg but I am nervous of doing this.

Hi

Try to do what your doctors says and see how you get not. Not sure if you can half the 10 mg tablets and if you will end up with exactly same dosage in each half as the ones i have ( also on 10 mg) do not have the half devide if you know what i mean.

hiya, i upped my dose to 20mg after 6 days on 10mg, i was feeling that crap i thought i couldn't feel any worse, i think it did me good i feel alot better now but i am on my fourth week x
